• How do I sign up and get approved?▼
  Fill out the form at /driver — it takes about 60 seconds: your name, email, phone, and vehicle info. The WaveRide team reviews applications daily; approved drivers receive an email with their unique approval code and QR code, typically within 1–2 business days. You must also upload your TNC endorsement — once verified, your dashboard unlocks and you can start accepting rides.
• When do my payouts clear?▼
  WaveRide processes earnings through Stripe Connect. After each completed ride your 82% share hits your WaveRide wallet instantly. You can cash out your full balance to your linked bank account at any time — no weekly cycles, no minimum threshold. Stripe typically settles to your bank in 1–2 business days depending on your bank.
• How does the 80%-of-fare early-driver bonus work?▼
  WaveRide is growing toward a network of 15 active drivers. Once the network hits 15 drivers, an automated bonus activates: any driver who joined before that milestone keeps a grandfathered 80% take-home rate (early drivers stay at 80% while the platform adjusts the split for new drivers after the milestone). Early drivers who apply now and complete their first ride before the 15-driver threshold are locked in permanently at the higher rate.
• Can I set my own hours?▼
  Yes — completely. WaveRide has no minimum-hours requirement and no peak-time mandates. Toggle your availability on or off from the driver dashboard whenever you like. Some drivers work evenings only; others run it as a full-time gig. Your schedule is yours.
• How does the rating system work?▼
  After every completed ride, riders can leave a 1–5 star rating and an optional comment. Your average rating appears on your driver profile and on your QR window display that riders see. Ratings don't affect your payout rate — they're shown to riders for trust. Drivers with consistently high ratings (4.8+) appear first in the rider browse list.
